FilterPak Reviewer's Comments

FilterPak is a good program, even though it lacks quite a few features. This product is extremely easy to install, setup, and begin using. There is no customization of URLs and/or keywords features which most of the competitors have.

Feature Set:  

The feature set is lacking compared to other products. There were no reporting functions and the family profiles were a bit weak as far as features.

Ease of Use:  

This product was not as user friendly as some of the other products reviewed. It did have an immediate override function that allowed you to get past a blocked website, but it was implemented poorly. When we performed an override, there was a problem with the blocked message looping.

Ease of Installation:  

This product is extremely easy to install, setup, and begin using.

Filtering Effectiveness:  

The underblocking and overblocking worked extremely well, as well as any product in the reviews, even on foreign websites. It did have an immediate override function that allowed you to get past a blocked website, but it was implemented poorly. When you perform an override, there was a problem with looping on the blocking message. It appears over and over again. To get through to the requested website can be frustrating with the annoying override button.

Summary:  

Overall, this product was a good product.
