CyberPatrol’s powerful filtering tools let’s you control how, when and to whom Internet access is allowed, filtered or blocked, as well as decide where they surf online – even when you can’t be there!

Filtering

Filter or block websites, newsgroups and search engine image results based on all CyberLIST database categories, which can be fine–tuned by adding your own blocked or allowed sites or list of sites. CyberPatrol uses a combination of powerful layered filtering technologies comprising the CyberLIST database, as well as dynamic filtering technologies that capture new sites not yet in the database.

Block specific or all chat and instant messaging programs to stop access to them. Chat sessions can be filtered to prevent important information, like names/addressess/phone numbers, being revealed to predators and objectionable words and phrases can be removed.

YES List

Restrict users surfing to a pre–approved list of vetted sites created by you. It’s even easier to create and is ideal for parents of very young kids.

Preset Filter Strengths

Web Category Filter Strengths

Stealth Filtering

Offers a discreet mode of filtering that lets you block access to unsuitable sites by displaying a user–friendly ‘The page cannot be displayed’ Blocking Page Style.

Criminal Activity & Phishing Category

This CyberLIST category has been renamed to accurately reflect its content. It includes Phishing sites to help minimize the threat of visiting those that pretending to be well–known trusted companies that dupe users into revealing personal passwords and log–in information.

Spyware Category

Spyware has been added to the CyberLIST database categories to let you prevent access to sites that provide or promote potentially malicious software, which put you and your users identities at risk and debilitate the performance of your computer.

Blocking Page Styles

With 12 Blocking Page Styles to choose from, they present a customized user–friendly online experience and can be further customized to offer users a password protected Instant Override option.

Weekly List Updates

These are automatically delivered on a weekly or twice weekly basis, and have all dead and/or inactive sites removed and thousands of new sites added.

CyberPatrol comes with ‘ready–to–go’ filtering, or settings can be created and customized for each user or groups of users. Settings can be easily fine–tuned and quickly overridden.
